What's New

Beef Basics II: "Breeding for Profitability" has been revised and is available now to help you with topics on reproduction, herd health, and genetic improvement using the most current university research.

Beef Basics VII: "Using Corn co-Products in the Beef Cow Herd" introduces corn milling byproducts and their uses in beef cow operations. Participants will learn about wet and dry milling processes, nutrient content, how to compare prices of feedstufffs and co-products, handling and storage, economics, and fitting co-products into beef cow rations.

Beef Cow Basics Plus: Beef Basics I was recently revised and rewritten. BeefCow Basics-Plus replaces Beef Basics I with cutting-edge information on nutrition, forages, supplements and economics -- a solid introduction to basic beef production with topics based on current university research.
